Going Virtual

Symposium: Online Learning and Virtual Exchange – The Future is Now

Date: 02.11.2021
Location: Speakers Corner, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Den Haag, The Netherlands

This is a one-day symposium designed to share best practices and explore issues around online teaching and virtual exchanges. What further lessons have been learned during COVID times? How can we improve our online delivery to make it both engaging and rigorous for students? What new skill sets do course providers need to employ? How do we keep up with the seemingly never ending pace of technological change?

We invite anyone interested in the issues noted above to register for this free symposium. We are hoping to attract a wide range of participants from all areas of the educational world and not just lecturers or teaching staff. Within the schedule there are ample opportunities to input into the debates and also for networking with other attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.

This symposium is a multiplier event of the ERASMUS+ K02 Project ‘Mitigating COVID Together: Enhancing Capacities of Academics and Students in Virtual Learning and Teaching Spaces’ which is being jointly undertaken by Palacky University (CZ), Tampere University of Applied Sciences [TAMK] (Fi), Univerzita Hradec Kralove (CZ) and The Hague University of Applied Sciences [THUAS] (NL).
